Preserving History

Preserving History

Premier Cooperative has helped preserve history in Black Earth, Wisconsin. Buildings, such as an old train depot and a grain elevator, were donated to the city by Premier when they no longer had a purpose in the company. Rather than demolishing the old, rickety structures, they renovated the interiors and gave the buildings a second life. A museum and a furniture restoration shop now allow cooperative history to be shown for years to come. #ourcooperativestory

If it’s going to help the community, create interest, bring people to town, create jobs, all those things are high on the list.
