Making Connections

Making Connections

Cooperatives can go where other businesses wouldn’t bother. In the case of RS Fiber Cooperative, that place is rural Minnesota. High-speed broadband service is essential in almost any job today, but large Internet providers haven't found the benefits of reaching out to small rural towns worth the required effort or expense. In southern Minnesota, United Farmers Cooperative and a group of local enthusiasts came together and decided to take the matter into their own hands, starting a company that would bring broadband to more people across the area and keep everyone connected. #ourcooperativestory

If people want something, they need to try to go get it. They can’t depend on somebody else.
